Avinash Gosavi

Hi, I’m Avinash Gosavi! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and work as a Technical Lead at Cisco Meraki. My journey in software development started in 2011 with Ruby, a language that has remained my favorite ever since. In 2014, I moved to the U.S. to pursue my Master’s in Computer Science at Old Dominion University—Go Monarchs! For the past five years, I’ve been calling the Bay Area home.

Outside of work, I’m an avid Arsenal fan and love exploring coffee and food spots in the area. Lately, I’ve also developed an interest in Lego and Board games.

I’m starting this blog to share my experiences as a software engineer, document my thoughts on coding, and discuss topics that excite me—like writing specs, refactoring, and excavating old codebase to uncover hidden business logic. There’s something about coding that never gets boring for me.
